Andalusia Ballet will hold an Art Supporting Art reception on Sunday, Sept. 9, from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the library of the Church Street Cultural Arts Centre. Gigi’s Tutu will provide light refreshments.

Art Supporting Art is a unique venue for artists of our area to have their work seen in the beautiful Church Street Cultural Arts Centre. In this third exhibit coordinated by Carol Phillips, Jo Kelley, Denille Spears, and Elizabeth Reid will be showing their works.

Kelley is a well-known, contemporary painter and potter in Southern Alabama.

Spears constantly strives for the unique view in her portrait, street and landscape photography.

Reid’s impressionistic style, bright cheerful colors and bold brush strokes enliven her pieces.

The library will be open for the public to view the artwork from 1:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. each weekday from Sept. 10 through Nov. 16.
