Straughn’s varsity and junior varsity volleyball squads swept Charles Henderson last night at home.

The Lady Tigers varsity team went on to a 3-0 victory over the Lady Trojans, while the JV team won, 2-0.

Straughn’s Jacie Williamson led the Lady Tigers (7-6) with 14 service points and six kills in the 25-13, 25-19, 25-17 victory.

Evan Frye had six aces and four kills; Crytal Bonds had five kills; Angel Carter had four digs; Paige Taylor had seven aces; Emily Hammett had seven service points and 10 assists; and Courtney Fussell had six digs.
