MAX BROOKS
Max Brooks, 89, of Andalusia, died Mon., Oct. 8, 2012, in the Andalusia Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thurs., Oct. 11, at the Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Wilkinson officiating and burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to services.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Marcus Godwin of Andalusia and Diane and John Richardson of Dade City, Fla.; his sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Marjorie Brooks of Alabaster and Doyle and Jackie Brooks of Pensacola, Fla.; his grandchildren, Karen Flynn, Brian Brooks, Kevin Brooks, Sharon Hatton, John Wesley Richardson and Shelby Lee Brooks; and his great-grandchildren, Casey Brooks, Jackson Brooks, Finley Grace Brooks, Cailyn Flynn, Sean Flynn, Whitney Brooks, Ashley Hines and Joey Hatton.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to the Hopewell Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Glen Walters, Jack Sansom, D.C. Lambert, Pat Patteson, Roy Wiggins and James Scruggs.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Hopewell Men’s Sunday School Class.

TONY GEORGE MILLER
Tony George Miller, 59, of Birmingham, formerly of Andalusia, died Tues., Oct. 9, 2012, in a Birmingham Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Fri., Oct. 12, at the First Baptist Church of Andalusia with the Rev. John Riddle officiating. The family will meet with friends at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. A private family graveside service will be held before the memorial.
Survivors include his wife, Abbie Taylor Miller of Birmingham; his daughter, Chapman Miller of Birmingham; his sons, Joshua Miller of Dallas, Texas, John Taylor Miller and Luice Miller of Birmingham; a brother, D. D. Miller of Andalusia; his mother-in-law, Abbie Taylor of Andalusia; sisters-in-law, Merrily (John) McCary of Birmingham and Cathy (Ronnie) McDaniel of Montgomery; his brothers-in-law, Jimbo Taylor of Andalusia and John (Kaye) Taylor of Andalusia; and several nieces and nephews.

MARSHALL RONALD ‘RONNIE’ PATE
Marshall Ronald “Ronnie” Pate, 70, of Andalusia, died Sun., Oct. 7, 2012 in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., today, Thurs., Oct. 11, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chester Watson officiating and burial following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at 11 a.m., today, at Foreman Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Pate; his son, Ronald Kimbrell Pate; his daughter, Donita Pate; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Thomas Braxton and Judie Moore; stepdaughter, Somer Raquel Moore; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Willie Sasser of Florala; and a brother and sister-in-law, Aaron and Evelyn Pate of Andalusia.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude Pate, and his brother, Doyle Pate.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Bryant, Clint Hughes, Braxton Moore, Red Piper, Zachary Piper and Dusty Piper.
