Dozier Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly robbed a Dozier convenience store Friday night, taking with them money, Newport cigarettes and gin.

Dozier Police Chief Terry Mears said Monday that he had a couple of suspects he was trying to locate.

According to The Luverne Journal, Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Department Investigator Heath Truman said a call came in just before 7 p.m. on Friday, and that two black males entered the Dozier Corner Market armed with what appeared to be a sawed-off shotgun.

“One of them appeared to have a dark blue jumpsuit with a camouflage backpack, and one was wearing a dark-colored hoodie with light gray stripes and black jeans,” Truman said.

He also said that the suspects’ faces were covered by the hoodies and were not visible to the surveillance camera.

Authorities said the suspects are between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall.

On Friday, police said they didn’t know the direction of travel the suspects took after leaving the store.

Mears said that anyone with any information, should contact him at (334) 818-1400 or (334) 496-3742. Information may also be reported to the Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Department at (334) 335-6568.
