Planning work on new wings to be built on the campuses of Andalusia High School and Andalusia Elementary is coming along nicely, Superintendent Ted Watson told board of education members Monday night.
Watson said the first architechtural renderings should be ready the week after Thanksgiving. Architect Carla Young of Goodwyn Mills and Cawood is working closely with science teachers to make sure they have what they need in the science labs, he said.
Watson gave the report in a meeting in which the only official business was to approve the minutes and amend the supplement schedule with a change that affects only school secretaries.
The next meeting is set for 6 p.m. on Mon., Dec. 17, at Andalusia Middle School.
