Parents attending today’s Christmas program at Andalusia Elementary should enter through the school’s front door or the one open back door.

A note sent home with students Wednesday stated school officials are in the process of evaluating safety issues with large programs, such as today’s music program. Greeters will be stationed at the back door today.

However, beginning Jan. 3, in an effort to strengthen security, the school’s back exterior doors will be locked during the school day.

Then, all visitors should enter through the front door and check in at the office.
