A two-vehicle crash Christmas Day near McKenzie claimed the life of a Roswell, Ga., woman and injured two others.
Trooper Kevin Cook said Celeste McCormick, 27, was killed when the 2003 Honda that she was a passenger in was struck by a 2003 Chevrolet driven by Brandon Ray Sellers, 20, of McKenzie.
The driver of the Honda, 27-year-old Ryan McCormick, was injured and transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment. Sellers was transported to Andalusia Memorial Hospital for his injuries.
The crash happened on U.S. 31 at the intersection of Alabama 55 about one mile south of McKenzie, Cook said. No further information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
