It should be easy to get your game gear on after Monday’s colossal match up between Alabama and Notre Dame in the BCS Championship game.
At Hibbett’s, store officials said the doors will remain open until 1 a.m.
“Come see us after Bama wins the big game,” the door read Friday.
For local merchant Brooks Hardware, folks weren’t waiting for a win before buying all sorts of Bama gear.
“We sold a good bit of flags and grill covers the day after New Year’s, but it was little slow on Thursday because of the weather,” said Nick Crowson of the store.
Crowson said the store boasts Bama umbrellas, flags, light-up flags, drink sticks, floaties, mailbox tubes, banners, grill covers, stepping stones décor and even Crimson Tide tape.
Over at Ward and Company, employees said they were also selling a little bit of Bama apparel.
For those wishing to enjoy a little food while decked out in their fan finery, Beef O’Brady’s will be open as long as the game is on.
“We’ll have our same hours and close at 10, but if the game is still on, we’re not going to put them out,” said Tracey Soto at Beef’s on Friday.
