Andalusia soccer coach Tim Ramsden said the Bulldogs’ season opener against Robertsdale tomorrow night will go on as scheduled.
“Soccer is not a sport weather stops,” Ramsden said. “No matter what it is, we’re going to play.”
Ramsden said two criteria would stop the game from taking place — a thunderstorm or if the field is way too wet.
“In fact, you actually want the field to be a little wet,” he said. “Usually, they’ll water down the field a little bit before games.”
Pre-game festivities at Andalusia High School’s football stadium start at 6:45 p.m. with the national anthem and introduction of the team.
The game will start promptly at 7 p.m.
