Today is the day for hearts and flowers. Those at Alan Cotton’s Florist Wednesday were working their fingers to the stems to keep up with today’s orders and deliveries. Cotton, who said he ordered 2,000 roses for the day, stands inside a cooler filled with color. Stephanie Nelson/Star-News
