Those who’d like to channel their inner detective, can do so during a dinner served with entertainment and a healthy dose of laughter in the coming week when the Covington Arts Council and ACT I present “Marriage Can Be Murder.”

It’s the group’s second dinner theatre production.

Lori Couturie and Johnny Brewer are cast as the bride and groom with a supporting cast made up of Curtis Simpson, Fran Davison, Derek Stump, Ronda Ricks and Jennifer Jones.

The interactive comedy requires sleuth work from the audience. A version of “Marriage” is hailed as the longest-running dinner theatre production in Las Vegas.

June Simpson directs the veteran cast, and CAC executive director Paul Harr is the producer.

Guests will enjoy chicken cordon bleu, massed potatoes, buttered garlic potatoes, a tossed salad, and wedding cake.

The production is set for 7 p.m. on Thurs., March 14, and Sat., March 16. A matinee is planned for 12:30 on Sun., March 17, with all performances at the Adult Activity Center.

Tickets, which are $25 for dinner and the show, are available from Ansley Place, Brooks Hardware and Harold’s. The deadline for Thursday evening tickets is Tuesday.
