G ather up the whole family and head over to the Covington Arena tonight and tomorrow for the ninth annual Pilot Club of Andalusia South Alabama Charity horse show.

Organizer Mollie Riley said there are 57 classes for this year’s show, including racking open, stick horse, walking pro-am, model, racking rail pleasure and more.

“We are so excited at the fun we are going to have,” she said. “Friday and Saturday nights promise to bring some of the best walking and racking horses around. It’s a great family-friendly event and for a great cause.”

Proceeds from the horse show allow the Pilot Club to help several worthy organizations as well as local schools and community organizations, including Project Lifesaver, Brain Minders, Camp ASCCA, Cross Over Ministries and Sav-A-Life, she said.

The funds also help with various community and civic projects.

Gates open at 4 p.m. both night and events start at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $5.
