Friday’s weather forced five local playoff series to be postponed until today.

Each series has a doubleheader today and a if necessary game on Monday.

The Class 3A and 4A Monday games start at 4:30 p.m., if they are necessary.

For Class 1A, the games start at 4 p.m.

Red Level’s baseball team was waiting on the bus to go when it received the cancelation call.

“They were all excited,” RLS coach Tony Ingram said about his players. “In my mind in a game of this magnitude, the field needs to be perfect.

“I would rather wait until (today),” he said.

Today’s games:

• Andalusia vs. UMS-Wright, noon/2:30 p.m.

• Straughn at W.S. Neal, 1 p.m./3 p.m.

• Opp vs. Bayside Academy, 12:30 p.m./3 p.m.

• Florala vs. Geneva County, 1 p.m./3 p.m.

• Red Level at Brantley, noon/2:30 p.m.
