F ifteen Covington County teams had raised more than $80,000 for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life at the beginning of last night’s event, 2013 chairman Larry Brown said.

There were 70 survivors on hand – some counting decades, some counting days of survival – to celebrate the work that the ACS has done.

Relay was held at the Kiwanis Community Center.­­
