Students of the Andalusia Ballet practice a maypole dance yesterday afternoon. The traditionally is danced on May 1, although in some European countries it is used as part of Pentecost or Midsummer celebrations. The dance will be part of the Ballet’s production of Coppellia, set for 7:30 p.m., Fri. and Sat., May 10 and 11, at the LBW Dixon Center for the Performing Arts. Admission is $15.
