GULF SHORES — Andalusia’s stellar play on Friday didn’t transition well Saturday as the Lady Bulldogs fell 10-0 to Charles Henderson to end its season at the Class 4A South Regional Softball Tournament.

The Lady Bulldogs got off to a good start on Friday, defeating Thomasville 11-8, but fell 13-8 in extra innings against Ashford in the second round of the winner’s bracket.

Because of the loss to the Lady Yellow Jackets, Andalusia had to play the Lady Trojans.

Charles Henderson roared to a 5-0 lead in the first inning.

Lady Trojans’ pitcher Becca Hartley threw a 1-hitter and struck out nine batters in five innings for the win.

CHHS added one run in the second inning, and two runs each in the fourth and fifth.

Andalusia ended its season 12-19.
