Mr. and Mrs. Ted Watson are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ellen Rebekah, to Joshua Levi King, son of Mrs. Jill Steward of Bay Minette and Kevin King of Navarre, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Becker of Monroeville and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Watson of Bermuda.

Miss Watson is a 2009 graduate of Andalusia High School. She is a recent magna cum laude graduate of the University of South Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing sciences. She has been accepted into the graduate program at South Alabama and will begin work on her master’s degree in speech-language pathology in August 2013.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ariel Walker of Red Level. He is a 2007 graduate of Andalusia High School and a recent summa cum laude graduate of the University of South Alabama with a degree in general science education.

The couple will unite in marriage at 4 p.m. on Sat., June 8, at Bethany Baptist Church with a reception immediately following.
