School’s out and sweet summertime is finally here.

It’s the time of year when families pack up the car and head in all different directions for a summer vacation.

“The beach because it’s fun,” said Zytavis Wilson. “I love playing in the water.”

Cape Merrell wasn’t studying going South. She had the Big Apple on her mind.

“I want to go to New York,” she said. “I just want to go. It’s just a big city, and I want to go to the American Girl store.”

Alyssa Richardson said she would choose Panama City, Fla.

“All of family is there,” she said. “I enjoy spending time with my family.”

John Logan Locke said he would like to head west to Las Vegas.

“There are so many pool tables and lights,” he said. “It’s fun. I want to go with my family.”

Samantha Lawson wants to go to the land where “Dreams Come True.”

“I want to go to Disney World,” she said. “I could bring a friend. I really want to go to the Animal Kingdom because I like animals.”
