Two Andalusia Stingrays broke seven all-time team records Saturday at their first competitive swim meet in Troy.

BJ Donaldson broke four team male records in the 100-yard individual medley (IM), 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly and the 100-yard freestyle; and Mary Beth Baker broke three team female records in the 100-yard IM, 50-yard freestyle and the 50-yard backstroke.

Donaldson swam the IM in 1 minute, 1.92 seconds; the 50-yard freestyle in 23.81 seconds; the 50-yard butterfly in 27.86 seconds and the 100-yard freestyle in 53.65 seconds.

Baker swam the IM in 1:13.56; the 50-yard freestyle in 28.51 seconds and the 50-yard backstroke in 33.49 seconds.

In other swim action, there were 68 personal best times set by the Stingrays at the meet.

“The team held their own during the meet,” Stingrays coach Gavin Donaldson said. “There are still little things that are hurting times, but we’ll work on those technical issues this week during practice, and see how they respond at the Andalusia meet on Saturday.”

• Emma Younce in the girls’ 11-12 100-yard IM in 1:15.74.

• Alex Browning in the boys’ 9-10 50-yard breaststroke in 55.19 seconds.

• Evie Younce in the girls’ 9-10 50-yard breaststroke in 51.46 seconds.

• Stuart Baker in the boys’ 11-12 50-yard breaststroke in 41.91 seconds.

• Emma Younce and Clarie Breedlove in the girls’ 11-12 50-yard breaststroke in 41.81 and 48.76 seconds, respectively.

• Ben Parker and Josh Hudson in the boys’ 13-14 50-yard breaststroke in 37.20 and 38.17 seconds, respectively.

• Mary Beth Baker and Elisabeth Younce in the girls’ 13-14 50-yard breaststroke in 40.12 and 42.86 seconds, respectively.
