REX CORNEL JONES

Rex Cornel Jones, 79, of Gantt, passed away on Sat., June 8, 2013, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., today, Tues., June 11, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Sanford Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Jones of Gantt; his daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Charles Neisler of Savannah, Ga., and Pamela and Glenn Martin of Cottonwood, Ariz.; his sons and daughters-in-law, Michael C. Jones of Mobile, William and Pamela Jones of Cooper City, Fla., and Rex E. and Janet Jones of Pembrooke Lake, Fla.; his stepchildren, Jeremy Cox of Gantt and Victoria Cox of Sanford, Mass.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenda and David Allred and Betty Jo Harrelson of Jasper; and several nieces and nephews.

HAROLD GENE MERRILL

Harold Gene Merrill, 76, of Red Level, passed away on Sun., June 9, 2013, in a Troy nursing home.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Wed., June 12, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Red Level, with Brother Merrill Davis officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation with family will be at the cemetery.

He is survived by two sisters, Erva Ree Odom of Red Level and Merlene Yancey of Troy; a sister-in-law, Ruth Merrill of Plant City, Fla.; his nieces and nephews, Susan and Ben Pynes of Luverne, Diane Childs of Troy, Wendell and Patricia Wells of Luverne and Alan and Cindy Merrill of Plant City, Fla.; 13 great-nieces and great-nephews; and four great-great-nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nell Mitchell Merrill; a daughter, Barbara Ann Merrill; parents, J. J. “Buster” and Dots Sasser Merrill; a brother, J. Douglas Merrill, and nephew, Andy Yancey.

AUDREY ELIZABETH LEE LITTLE

Audrey Elizabeth Lee Little, born on Aug. 19, 1942, of Andalusia, passed away Thurs., June 6, 2013, in the Andalusia Hospital emergency room.

Funeral services were held on Mon., June 10, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Salem Cemetery. Brother Clyde Northrop officiated the service.

Survivors include her husband, David Little of Andalusia; her step-daughter and son-in-law, Tonya (Clete) Pelham of Andalusia, two grandchildren, Sera and Reagan Pelham; one sister, Carolyn Lee King of Andalusia; two brothers, Eugene (Faye) Lee of Opp and Jimmy (Debbie) Lee of Ohio, brother-in-law, Hinton Short from Opp; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Culin Lee; her sister, Barbara Lee Short, and a brother-in-law, Sam King Jr.
