County Engineer Darren Capps said rains have prompted two road closures in the south end of the county.

Capps said Bass Bridge Road and Willie Moore Road are closed to traffic.

“I know that we have some erosion issues throughout the county as well, but nothing else that would warrant a closure at this point,” Capps said. “Most of the rainfall has happened in the south end of the county so far, so it seems that everything is doing well in the northern part.”
