Verdell Goodson, 79, of Enterprise, was crowned Ms. Alabama Nursing Home during a pageant at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham – The Wynfrey Hotel in Hoover Monday.

First runner-upwas Elaine Blankenship of Woodland Village Health Care in Cullman, and second runner-up was Jane Lucas of Andalusia Manor.
