The Sweet Home Wreckers, Andalusia’s own Roller Derby team, will be a busy team tomorrow as it hosts a benefit car wash and Rock for Rollers event, all in the same day.

The car wash will be held at Kangaroo Express Gas Station at 1139 Martin Luther King Expressway in Andalusia, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Additionally, the wreckers will be pumping gas for tips. All you need to have your car washed is a $5 bill.

An hour after the car wash and pumping gas for tips benefit, the team will move on over to Michael’s Bar in Opp for the Rock for Rollers event.

Local bands will be playing at the event, where shows will start at 7 p.m.

Door tickets are $10 each.

Additionally, a raffle will be held at the show. Tickets for the raffle are $1 each.

Donations raised will go to help buy uniforms and derby related gear.

Michael’s Bar is located at 18228 Highway 331 South in Opp.
