Who’s going to compete for Opp?

That’s one question Bobcats coaches hope will be answered tonight in a jamboree game against Dale County.

OHS head coach Jack Whigham said the game will give his staff a good gauge of where the players are right now.

“The main thing we’re looking to see what our kids will do is compete,” Whigham said. “We want to see who our starters are. We have guys who we have listed as back ups who we want to see if they play better in Friday-night situations.”

There are still questions to be answered on the offensive line, secondary and kicking situation, Whigham said.

“This gives us an opportunity to play somebody else other than ourselves,” Whigham said.
