Florala beat Samson 3-2 in a close volleyball match Thursday night.

The Lady Wildcats got off to a good start, winning the first set 25-21.

Samson bounced back to win the next two 25-18, 27-25 before FHS won the fourth 25-18 to force a fifth game, where it won 15-13.

“The girls all played really well,” FHS coach Joea McNeil said. “I am very proud all of their hard work.”

In earlier action, Florala’s JV won 25-16, 24-26, 15-10.
