Andalusia’s annual Halloween on the Square will be held on Thurs., Oct. 31, from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Live music by Keith Williams & Second Nature from Birmingham will be on stage until 9 p.m.

Each year, merchants purchase candy for the event, and gave away more than a half million pieces.

In Opp, merchants will sponsor Trick or Treat at the Depot. Hours are from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thurs., Oct. 31.

In both cities, residents who choose to go trick-or-treating in neighborhoods are asked not to approach homes where the entry lights are off.
