Opp is holding a citywide cleanup today.
The city landfill will be open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. to allow citizens to remove limbs, yard waste, construction debris and other various materials.
Household waste or garbage, oil, paint, tires or poison will not be accepted.
“This is a prime opportunity for property owners to clean and beautify their yards, yards and property,” Mayor John Bartholomew said previously. “We encourage everyone to take advantage of this service. It worked out very well the last time we did it.”
Also until Nov. 8, a trailer will be at the recycling center on East Covington Avenue to receive tires at no cost.
