A ‘wild’ night of cooking

From quail pizza served by Camp Creek Cooks to Team Massey’s wild hog and frog legs to a new take on barbecue, using deer venison, there was no shortage of good food at Thursday night’s annual Covington County Wildlife Federation’s Wild Game Cookoff.

As the crowds flooded in at the Covington Center Arena, teams from all over were manning their grills, hoping to take home one of the night’s top prizes.
