If you are shopping for a person who has seemingly has everything, why not give them a little rock star treatment?

“Nails are our passion,” said master nail technologist Dedra Robertson, manager of Rockstar Nail Salon in Opp.

What makes the salon special?

“We treat you like a rock star,” Robertson said. “We know that people look in People magazine, Style magazine and see how the stars live. We want people to know that even though this is a small town, they can have big city nails.”

“Big city nails” includes a variety of nail designs, nail jewelry, and 55 choices for gel polish.

“It doesn’t matter if you want to be traditional or trendy, we can accommodate both,” Robertson said.

She and nail tech Haley Ziglar, a recent grad of LBW’s nail tech program, put safety and sanitation first.

“Everything we use is disposable – files, buffers, and pedicure liners,” she said. “We use EPA grade hospital disinfectant.”

Rockstar Nails is open for appointments and walk-ins upon availability. Rockstar Nails is offering a $10 discount on pedicures with the purchase of a gift certificate.

The business is located at 203 MLK Drive in Opp, across from Body Conscious. Hours are 10 a.m. until 6 pm. Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
