Straughn junior Brooks Rabren made the cut to play in today’s final round of the Innisbrook Christmas Junior Classic in Tampa, Fla.

Rabren shot a 78 in the first round on Wedesday, and then shot a 76 on Thursday on a wet Copperhead Course.

“The conditions were really tough,” Rabren said about his play. “We got a lot of rain on us. The winds have been pretty tough. I struggled on and around the greens, but all in all, I haven’t played too bad.”

Rabren said he is aiming to finish in the top five of the tournament, which will give him American Junior Golf Association points, and a possible invitation there.

“I’m looking forward to playing (today),” he said.
