MERLE OWENS LUCAS

Merle Owens Lucas, 86, of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., formerly of Andalusia, passed away on Fri., Jan. 3, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., today, Wed., Jan. 8, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eugene Meadows officiating and interment following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Foreman Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Janet Fuller of Ft. Walton; her grandchildren, Richard Edgar of Andalusia, Rita (Brandon) Ward of Opp, Patti Gill of California and Denise Wages and Steven Fuller, both of Ft. Walton; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Allan Lucas; daughter and son-in-law, Nell and Charles Edgar; and parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Owens.

Pallbearers will be Richard Edgar, Brandon Ward, Michael Pittman, Steven Fuller, Chase Wages and Justin Hulsey.

FRAN WILLIAMS CRYMES

Fran Williams Crymes passed away on Dec. 31, 2013, at her residence in Miramar Beach, Fla.

Funeral services were held on Sat., Jan. 4, here at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herbert Brown officiating and interment following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Bridget Braswell of Miramar Beach, Fla.; grandchild, Ashley Braswell; great-grandchild, Kaylynn Braswell-Fye, both of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; and three sisters, Christine Stokes of River Falls, Winnie Lanier of Red Level and Eva Bullard of Andalusia.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Wiggins; daughter, Carmen Michele Wiggins; sister, Myrtle Sowell; four brothers, Stephen E. Williams Jr., Luther Williams, Glen Williams and J.T. Williams; and her parents, Stephen Edgar Williams and Mamie Rollin Williams.
