SHELIA CAINE JETER
Shelia Caine Jeter, 39, of Andalusia, passed away on Thu., Dec. 26, 2013.
Family will receive friends today, Thu., Jan. 9, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. A private burial by Keahey Funeral Home will follow. In lieu of flowers, Keahey Funeral Home will be accepting donations for the family.
She is survived by mother, Betty Jean Caine; son, Cody Williamson; daughter, Brittany Williamson; brother, Michael Caine; and sister, Juanita Caine, all of Andalusia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Williamson, and her infant child.
ARCHIE BENJAMIN ‘BENNY’ HENDERSON JR.
Archie Benjamin “Benny” Henderson Jr., 59, of Andalusia, passed away on Wed., Jan. 8, 2014, in the local hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Fri., Jan. 10, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Joel Calhoun officiating.
Visitation will be tonight from 5:30-7:30 at Foreman Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Henderson of Andalusia; two sons and daughter-in-law, Jason (Stacie) Henderson and Dennis Henderson, all of Andalusia; five grandchildren, Gracie Henderson, Lyndsey Stephens, Morgan Stephens, Chance Owen and Megan Owen; one bother and sister-in-law, Lewis (Renee) Henderson of Andalusia; one sister, Emily Henderson of Andalusia and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Spivey, Jerry Bond, Chris Sasser, Gary Wayne Sutton, Larry Hawthorne and Cliff Thomas.
J.C. SASSER
J. C. Sasser, 89, of Andalusia, passed away on Tue., Jan. 7, 2014, at Florala Health and Rehab.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Fri., Jan. 10, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Erine Moreno officiating. Eulogies will be given by Janet Moleno and his special certified nursing assistants Lisa Davis, Shelby Robert and Sandera Bryant. Special music will be provided by Michelle Daughtry and Kelly Kendrick. Interment will follow in Stone Lake Gardens with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be tonight from 6-8 at Keahey Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Sasser; son, Jason Newton (Peggy) Sasser; brother, James Douglas (Joan) Sasser, all of Andalusia; sister, Juanita Deloach of State Line, Miss.; grandchildren, Janet Sasser (Ernie) Moreno and Michelle Daughtry, all of Andalusia; and great-grandchildren, J.T. Moreno and Morgan Daughtry.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Ptomey, Alan Sasser, John Tillman, Doug Thomas, Jerry Newton, Terry Newton, Carl Clark and Rickey Henley.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Windsor, Herman Kelley, Cecil Windsor, Jeff Parker, Paul Wiggins, Keith Foley, James Campton and David Doster.

LOIS (FOLEY) MESSICK
Lois (Foley) Messick of Route 3, Opp, passed away on Jan. 6, 2014.
She was born in Coffee County on March 8, 1918.
She was a loving Christian daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, Sunday school teacher, seamtress, accomplished quilter, and long-time faithful member of Sweetwater Baptist Church.
Loving survivors include two daughters, Linda (Jerry) Andrews of Andalusia and Lurlene (Marvin) McCullough of Opp; four grandchildren, Traci (Jeff) Korkowski of Houston, Karen (Nick) Harrington of Tallahassee, Fla., Michael (Wendy) Andrews of Andalusia and Brian (Bonnie) McCullough of Eufaula; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and one brother William P. “Pete” Foley of Elba.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cumy Messick; five sisters, Myrt, Evelyn, Julia, Dot and Willene; and brothers, Lawrence and John and Todd Boland.
Funeral services will be held on Sat., Jan. 11, at 11 a.m., at Wyatt Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Peaceful Acres in Opp.
WILLIAM ‘BILL’ M. DUNN JR.
William “Bill” M. Dunn Jr., 58, of Andalusia, passed away on Sat., Jan. 4, 2014, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sat., Jan. 11, in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time.
He was born Dec. 15, 1955, in Fort Benning, Ga., to the late William Murl Dunn Sr. and Nancy Lucille Godwin Dunn.
His father; his son, John Podstupka; and his daughter, Deborah Atwell, all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Dunn of Andalusia; three sons, Ryan (Angie) Dunn, William Murl Dunn III, and Cory Dunn, all of Sarasota, Fla.; three daughters, Stephanie Lynch and Kathleen (Jerry) Temperino, all of New York, and Haley Dunn of Sarasota, Fla.; four grandchildren; his mother, Nancy Lucille Dunn of Dozier; two sisters, Marjorie Kim Mosley (Victor) of Dozier, and Wendy Jo (Lucky) Muse of Arcadia, Fla.

ELAINE KELLEY MYERS
Elaine Kelley Myers, 74, of Palatka, Fla., passed away Fri., Jan. 3, at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness.
A native of Andalusia, she resided in Putnam County, Fla., since 1983 coming from Montgomery. She had been an elementary school teacher in Alabama, Tennessee and Florida. For the last 20 years of her career, she worked as a technology specialist with the Northeast Florida Educational Consortium (NEFEC).
She was a member of Westside Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and her church family as well. She was also an avid Auburn Tiger fan.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Bradley Kelley; a daughter, Cynthia Darlene Myers; a brother, Jerry B. Kelley; and a great-grandchild, Skylan Duncan.
She is survived by her daughter, Alicia Myers Markel; son, Elbert Franklin “Trey” (Telisa) Myers III, all of Montgomery; six grandchildren, Richard Duncan Jr., Christopher Duncan, Melissa Pollock, Melody Mathison, Trace Myers and Tate Myers; eight great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Wylene Kelley; two nieces, Terri Martin and Gena Parkison; and a nephew, Brad Kelley.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., Jan. 11, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Foreman Funeral Home.
