Straughn’s boys dropped five spots in the Alabama Sports Writers Association’s Class 3A basketball poll, which was released today.

The Tigers beat Opp 45-35 on Tuesday night after falling two straight games to Southside Selma (a 54-49 loss last Thursday) and Elba (a 54-42 loss last Friday).

SHS is now 11-4 on the season after its win over the Bobcats.

In girls, the Lady Tigers are still at No. 3 after improving to 17-1 on the season after defeating Opp 41-29 on Tuesday.
