RUBY CLYDE PERRY
Ruby Clyde Perry, 82, of Andalusia, passed away on Wed., Jan. 22, 2014, in Mobile.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., today, Tue., Jan. 28, at First Baptist Church – Whatley Street, followed by the burial in Little Baptist Hill Church in Rutledge.
Left to cherish her memories is her loving husband, Willie Perry of Andalusia; their six children, Mathis Dorsey of Atlanta, Betty Toney of Andalusia, Patricia Dorsey (Leslie) Reynolds of Atlanta, Mary Taylor of Mobile, Danny (Johnnie Mae) Perry of Evergreen and Theresa Cole of Savannah, Ga.; her granddaughter whom she raised, Tenia Perry; her brothers and sisters, D.C Dorsey, Ethan (Duck) Dorsey and John E. Dorsey, all of Andalusia, Mary Dubose of Dayton, Ohio, Clara A. Curry of Andalusia and Helen (Aaron) Anderson of River Falls; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, extended family and loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ethan and Bessie Dorsey; and her daughters, Sylvia Brooks and Detra Taylor.
The family will accept flowers, or memorials may be made in her honor to the charity of one’s choice.
INEZ BUTTS POWELL
Inez Butts Powell, 92, of Andalusia, passed away on Fri., Jan. 24, 2014, in the Andalusia Manor nursing facility.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., today, Tue., Jan. 28, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Boles officiating and interment following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. today at Foreman Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Randy Jones of Staesboro, Ga.; her sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Melorie Powell of Dothan and Texal and Rebecca Powell of Andalusia; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

KATHERINE OVENIA FLETCHER BUTLER
Katherine Ovenia Fletcher Butler, 99, of Andalusia, passed away in Dale County on Wed., Jan. 23, 2014.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Mon., Jan. 27, at Gantt Baptist Church with David Walsh and Ben Amlong officiating. Interment followed in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Rozita Jones of Ariton; a grandson, Stephen Jones of Ozark; two step-sons, John (Joyce) Butler of Titus and Larry (Susan) Butler of Arkansas; step-daughter, Linda (James) Harris of Montgomery; one brother, Robert E. Soles of Gantt; one sister, Ruby Bergstresser of Washington; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lathram H. Fletcher and John B. Butler.

Pauline Godwin Wheeler, 90, of Gantt, passed away on Fri., Jan. 24, 2014, at Andalusia Regional Hospital.
Funeral services were held on Sun., Jan. 26, at 2 p.m., from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hank Roberts officiating and interment following in Buck Creek Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Dennis Mills and Shirley Horton, all of Gantt; four grandchildren, Dorinda Kelly, Mike Sasser, Sam Horton and John Mark Sasser; and great-grandson, Cori Kelly.

Myrtie Barnes Dreading
Mrs. Myrtie Barnes Dreading, age 70, of Defuniak Springs, Fla., passed away Sat., Jan. 25, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tues., Jan. 28, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Frankie McVay will officiate. Burial will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include: her husband, Gary Wayne Dreading, Defuniak Springs; sons, David (Melanie) Dreading, Carolina Community, Ricky (Juanice) Dreading, Babbie, Douglas Mobley, DeFuniak Springs, Timothy (Julie) Donaldson, Mary Esther, Fla., and Gary (Kari) Dreading Jr., Ft. Walton Beach; a daughter, Vivian (Joe) Digrazia; Crestview; her mother, Lillie Mae Barnes of Andalusia; a brother, Bobby (Glenda) Barnes of Andalusia; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robbie Mobley, Terry Barnes, Keith Castleberry, Joe Digrazia, Trae Lawson, and Ben Crowell.
