Camp Butter and Egg in Troy will hold its next Mud Run on Sat., March 1, at 10 a.m.

There will be two races — a 5K race for adults and teens, and a children’s race, covering 1.3 miles.

The course will feature obstacles of cargo nets, inclines, mud pits, hay bales, slides and hills throughout the trail, with the guarantee of lots of dirt and mud to show.

Awards will be given for the fastest times in each age category.

Early registration fee for adults is $30, and $20 for children. The early registration can be paid online at www.campbutterandegg.com.

Late registration after March 1 will be accepted until 9 a.m. on race day, but carries a $10 fee increase.
