Opp’s Ethan Davis and Colt Harrell went 2-for-3 each with two runs and an RBI to help lead the Bobcats to a 10-0 shutout win over New Brockton Thursday night for their season opener.

Jacob Johnson also went 2-for-3 with a run for OHS.

On the mound, Landon Hughes went five innings for the complete game, and allowed one hit while striking out two.

New Brockton’s Shay Hobbs went 1-for-2 to lead the Gamecocks.

Opp’s back in action tonight at home for a single game against Slocomb. First pitch is at 5 p.m.
