BOBBIE WYLENE BUTLER RAMSEY

Bobbie Wylene Butler Ramsey, 91, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., Feb. 23, 2014, at Andalusia Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Thurs., Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Stone Lake Gardens with Keahey Funeral Home directing. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Wed., Feb. 26.

Ramsey is survived by a son, Woody (Judy) Ramsey of River Falls; brother, Henry Bolden (Vivian) Butler of Marietta, Ga.; sister, Tensie Butler Beam of Beach Island, S.C.; grandchildren, Courtney Ramsey Henderson and Johnny Lamar Dubose, both of River Falls; great-grandchildren, Jessie Henderson and Morgan Dubose.

Ramsey is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Ramsey and sisters, Gwen Butler Meredith and Lorene Butler Bryan

Shelia Brooks, 57, of Andalusia, passed away unexpectedly Sat., Feb. 22, 2014, in the Andalusia hospital.

Memorial services were held Tues., Feb. 25, at New Song Church. The Rev. Robert Canant officiated, with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

MATTHEW KENNETH DOUGLAS

Matthew Kenneth Douglas, 30, of Andalusia, died Sun., Feb. 23, 2014. Funeral services will be Thurs., Feb. 27 at 11:30 a.m. at Bradley Assembly of God with the Rev. Adam Peterson officiating. Interment will follow at Old Bradley Cemetery, with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Douglas is survived by his wife, Jessica Gibson Douglas of Andalusia; daughters, Haley Vendetti and Mallory Douglas of Wing; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Douglas of Milton, Fla.; birth mother, Jackie Simmons; sisters, Sholanda Embery of Brunswick, Ga., Kimberly Ates, Candala Land and Charity Cook all of Milton; brothers, Shawn Palmer of Wing, Shannon Palmer, Joey Palmer and Adam Palmer, all of Milton.

Visitation will be held after 5 p.m. Wednesday at Foreman’s and after 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Bradley Assembly of God Church.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to the Jessica Gibson Fund at Andalusia’s Southern Independent Bank.
