Registration for kindergarten continues around the county today, as both Andalusia and Opp elementary schools will be holding sign-ups.

Today is the final day of early registration at AES, where students can still sign up for Kindergarten between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

At OES, registration will continue throughout March daily from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Following registration in Opp, a medical screening testing students’ vision and hearing will be held throughout the day Tues., April 1 and Thurs., April 3.

Parents bringing children to register at either school should bring an updated shot record (blue form), an original birth certificate, an original Social Security card and proof of residence.

Students must turn five years of age on or before Sept. 2, 2014 to register for kindergarten.
