EUGENE COPELAND

Eugene Copeland, 79, of the Hopewell community, passed away Mon., March 3, 2014, in the Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services will be held today, Thurs., March 6, at 2:30 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Wilkinson and the Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be held today at 2 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church.
Copeland is survived by his wife, Emma B. Copeland of the Hopewell community; son, Randall (Melissa) Copeland of the Red Oak community; daughter, Peggy (Herbert) Brown of Greenville; sister, Ann (Oren) Hilton of Mobile; brother, Jerry P. (Carol) Copeland of Titusville, Fla; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.
