ROSA POWELL

The Rosa “Ms Rosie” Powell Family would like to express its thanks to friends and family for the many cards, e-mails, flowers and phone messages received following the loss of our dear mother.

Mother lived a long, full life. Although her passing is a sad milestone for us, we are grateful for having had her with us for so many years.

We want to send a special thanks to the members of Enon Baptist Church and East Highland Baptist Church for the delicious meal provided for our family and friends to enjoy after the service. It was such a thoughtful gesture.

We also send special thanks to Brother Mark Perry for the consolation he gave us during this trying time. The beauty of the services he conducted has helped us tremendously. We are grateful to Donny Powell for the memories he shared with all of us in his eulogy. Thanks to Flint Harrelson, Enon choir and others for the beautiful songs. Thanks to the honorary pallbearers for your kindness and contributions to the service. We asked for you because you were one of her closest friends. To Andalusia Manor, we send our thanks for all you did for her in her last days. Thanks, Allison, Debbie and Tamala for taking the time to be with us. Your kindness and compassion mean a great deal to us.

To all friends, thank you for showing us that we were not alone in our grief.

– Jim and Jodie Powell, Naomi Knox, Nell Ward, Pauline Ray and family.
