Andalusia took it on the chin twice at Northview’s baseball field Saturday, falling to Class 6A schools Northview and Opelika, 10-1 and 12-1, respectively.

The Bulldogs (6-6) had only four hits in each game.

In the loss to Northview, Justin Scherzinger was 2-for-3 and Daniel Henderson belted a solo homer. Jud Rogers had a single for the other hit.

Northview pounded out 16 hits and had 12 stolen bases in the win.

Against Opelika, Scherzinger, Henderson, Rogers and Brandon Smith had a single each. Smith also drove in a run on a ground out.

Opelika earned 13 hits against Andalusia.

Opelika beat Northview 8-0 in the other game. OHS improved to 12-2, while Northview lost for the first time after 12 wins.
