City Of Andalusia Mayor Earl V. Johnson and Interim Police Chief Paul Hudson announced shortly after noon on Wednesday that Andalusia Police Sgt. Jason Curry has been relieved of duty following his arrest Wed., March 19, 2014.

Further, they stated that a pre-determination hearing will be set within the next several days to determine whether further disciplinary action should be taken in this matter.

Curry, 34, was charged with distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and prostitution. His bond was set at $165,000.

His father, Otis R. Curry, 59, was charged with two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $200,000.

The ABC has not yet released details of the investigation.
