Andalusia’s girls swept Hillcrest-Evergreen in softball action Thursday night.

The Lady Bulldogs defeated the Lady Jaguars 12-1 in a Class 4A, Area 2 varsity game, and the junior varsity girls won 15-1.

Andalusia’s Emily Terry, Abbie Young, Haley Harper and Merikal McCaskill went 2-for-3 each.

Breanna Dixon pitched three innings, and Young added two.

The junior varsity girls finished their regular season with a winning record.

The Lady Bulldogs’ varsity squad will be back in action tonight at Straughn’s Kirsten L. Dean Memorial Softball Tournament.

AHS plays New Brockton at 6 p.m., and Brantley at 8 p.m. in pool play.
