The Andalusia Chamber Music Society’s Spring Concert, “Johannes Brahms: Three Violin Sonatas,” will be held at 7:30 p.m. Fri., April 4, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.

“It will be a lovely evening of romantic music by Brahms in a beautiful setting followed by a reception with the musicians in the fellowship hall,” said Dr. Herb Riedel, ACMS co-founder.

The recital features Jenny Grégoire on violin and Dr. Robert Holm on piano.

Grégoire, born in Québec, Canada, rose to concertmaster of the Mobile Symphony 13 years ago and was first featured as a soloist with the orchestra in 2002.

Holm is Professor of Music and head of the piano division at the University of South Alabama since 1997.

Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for students, and are available at LBW Community College president’s office in Andalusia, Harold’s Furniture, and Brooks Hardware.
