SANDRA NEILL ALBRITTON ROBINSON

Sandra Neill Albritton Robinson, 71, of the Williamsville, Va. community in Highland County, left to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Sat., April 19, 2014.

She was born Sept. 10, 1942, in Florala. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Mary Neill (Smith) Albritton.

Robinson was a faithful member of McDowell Presbyterian Church for over 40 years.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, R.D. Robinson; son, Steve (Jennifer) Robinson of Churchville, Va.; daughter, Melissa (Don) Robinson Spittle of Blacksburg, Va.; two granddaughters, Molly Robinson of Churchville and Ashley (Jason) Welch of Centerville, Va.; grandson, Christopher (Kelly) Robinson of Dante, Va.; and sisters, Mary Leah Veneable of Goodlettsville, Tenn. and Theresa Phillips of Little River.

The family will hold a celebration of her life at the home of R.D. and Sandra, 332 Flood Lane in Williamsville, to be announced at a later date. Family and friends will be notified.  Additionally, a memorial service and interment will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Andalusia, also to be announced at a later date.

At the family’s request, memorial contributions may be made to the McDowell Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 66, McDowell, VA 24458. Donations will be applied toward the Heifer Fund International and the Presbyterian Children’s Home of Wytheville, Va.

DAMIEN A. MOLINET

Damien A. Molinet, 32 passed away suddenly Mon., April 28, 2014. Molinet was born Sept. 21, 1981 in Metairie, La. to Ernest and Darlene Molinet. He spent most of his adult life in Andalusia, before moving to Ohio to be closer to his daughter, Kaelyn.

Molinet had a beautiful heart and enriched the lives of all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Molinet. He is survived by his wife and daughter Kellie and Kaelyn Molinet; his grandparent(s), Janelle Windham (Gram), Gene Windham and Joaquin (Gaynell) Molinet; father, Ernest (Michelle) Molinet; sisters Brittany, Chelsea and Emma; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service celebrating Molinet’s life will be held Sat., May 3, at 1 p.m. in Adellum Baptist Church. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

GAYLE CREECH GOTHARD

Gayle Creech Gothard, 73, of Monroe, La., passed away Wed., April 30, 2014, at University Health Center.

Gothard is a former member of NAWIC.

She is survived by her son, Mitch Gothard; daughter, Michelle Crampton; granddaughter, Elizabeth Crampton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial services for Gothard will be held Sat., May 3, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.
