Covington County has been placed under a severe thunderstorm warning until 12:15 p.m.

At 11:46 a.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds of more than 60 mph was located 15 miles northwest of Andalusia or 4 miles northwest of Red Level and moving northeast at 35 mph.
