Fishing enthusiasts, get ready!

The Gantt Area Fire and Rescue will hold a fishing tournament at Point A on Saturday.

Cost is $100 per boat with big fish included.

Registration will begin at 5:30 a.m., and the tournament will start at safe daylight.

Fishers are required to be back at the landing by 2 p.m. for weigh-in or they will be disqualified.

Boats will be inspected prior to the tournament, and alcoholic beverages are prohibited, officials said.

A maximum of two people per boat will be allowed, and contestants must possess a valid Alabama fishing license.

Cash prizes will be awarded to first, second and third places and big fish.
