The First Baptist Church-Whatley’s Youth Department held its first-ever 5K “Just Do It” Walk/Run on Saturday. The overall winner was Jayden Ellison. Division winners were Damion Dorsey (11U); Kyruian Wain (12-15 years); Ellison (16-18); Ashton Evans (19-49); and Michael Heard (50+). The rest of the divisional winners received prizes as well. There were 50 registered runners and walkers and many who cheered on the participants at the church along the route.
