An Andalusia couple is behind bars after authorities say they stole and undisclosed amount of electronics from Walmart, some of which has been linked to an earlier crime.

According to information released from Andalusia Police Department, 20-year-old Corneliuse Travon Marshall and his live-in girlfriend, 18-year-old Jazmine Justine Hall, were arrested at their residence Tuesday afternoon after a search warrant uncovered the stolen electronics, as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia.

According to APD investigators, a search warrant for Marshall’s residence was obtained after officers investigating the stolen merchandise observed electronic equipment similar to those reported stolen, as well as narcotics, in plain view while questioning Marshall at his home.

Following a search of the residence, authorities reported recovering “numerous electronic devices, laptops, tablets, cell phones, electronic gaming systems, marijuana and items used in the transportation and/or consumption of marijuana.”

Investigators said one the laptops recovered has been linked to a burglary and theft that occurred in Covington County in October 2013.

Marshall was arrested on charges of theft of property II, receiving stolen property II, possession of marijuana II and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hall was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property II, possession of marijuana II and possession of drug paraphernalia. Marshall was booked into the Covington County Jail on a $30,500 bond, while Hall was booked on a $20,500 bond. Investigators said both remained in jail as of Wednesday evening.

Investigators also extended a special thanks to the APD patrol division’s B shift for their assistance with the arrests. Investigators added the case is ongoing and more charges and arrests are possible.
