Mr. Franz Cobb and Ms. Mary Sue Cobb of Anniston are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lesley Megan Cobb, to William Ryan Mitchell, son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Mitchell of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Nell Almand Cobb and the late Mr. Cyrus F. Cobb Sr., and Mrs. Katheryn Beard Bonds Giplin and the late Mr. Herschell T. Bonds, all of Anniston.

Megan is a graduate of White Plains High School and a cum laude grade of the University of South Alabama, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.

She is employed as an RN at the University of South Alabama Medical Center emergency/trauma department.

Megan is also an instructor at Faulkner State Community College.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Hill of Andalusia and Mrs. Maxine Mitchell of Oxford, and the late Leon Mitchell.

Ryan is a graduate of Andalusia High School and a summa cum laude graduate of Lipscomb University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.

White at Lipscomb, he played on the baseball team and was selected as an NCAA Division 1 First Team Academic All-American.

He is also a graduate of the University of Alabama College of Medicine.

He is currently completing his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of South Alabama in Mobile.

The wedding is planned for June 21, 2014, at SouthWind Plantation in Wellington, Ala.
